What is Shelf Inventory Summary?

This summary enables users to track both the available quantity and the locked quantity of SKU products. The available quantity refers to the total stock that is currently on hand and accessible for use or sale, while the locked quantity represents stock that is reserved for specific orders or purposes and cannot be freely moved or sold. This distinction is crucial for effective inventory management, as it allows users to accurately assess their inventory status, plan for future inventory needs, and ensure that they can meet customer demand without overcommitting their resources.
