Warehouse Management System Walkthrough

This article will give a walkthrough about our Warehouse Management System (WMS).

 

Our login page already exhibited organization and standards in system and operation. That is our service branding. 


On the dashboard, you will see warehouse details such as contact name, phone, email, address, and setting.


At the side panel, you will see the following system features.


Let me show you what could be seen in each feature to be familiar. In a separate article each feature will be discussed a long with operational function.

1. Inventory refers to a list of products where the following information are available:

  • SKU
  • Name
  • Product Name
  • Available
  • Onhand
  • Pending
  • Locked Quantity
  • Custom Field


In this feature, you can easily see list of products by company name.


2. Inventory Record pertains to list of incident reports. Notice that this feature records the following information:

  • SKU
  • Product Name
  • Quantity
  • Company
  • Execute Time
  • Reason


You can also filter by company name to view recorded incidents.


3. Inventory Adjustments a record of all inventory adjustments where statuses can be filtered either Pending, Success, or Cancelled.

Where the following information could be found:

  • Reference
  • Remarks
  • Expected Execute Date
  • Requester
  • Status
  • Reason
  • Company


Here you can EditComplete, or Cancel.


4. Product Details page includes the following information:

  • ID
  • SKU
  • Barcode
  • Product Name
  • Chinese Title
  • Weight
  • Length x Width x Height
  • Weight (packed)
  • Length x Width x Height
  • Declared Value
  • Custom Field
  • Company


With this feature, you can edit the Product Details.


You can filter a Product Detail by SKU, Barcode, Product Name, Company Name, Volume, and Weight.


Also, you can add New SKU detailsImport, and Export.


5. Inbound Shipments has the following information:

  • Shipment ID
  • No. of Cartons
  • Inbound No. of Cartons
  • Expected Delivery Date
  • Carrier Service
  • Tracking Number
  • Inbound Type
  • Status
  • Company


With this feature, you can Edit Product DetailsArrival Confirmation, and do Inbound.


You can filter by Shipment ID, Tracking Number, Company Name, or Status.


Also, you can Export Inbound Shipment.


Status can be PendingArrivedPartialCompletedCancelled, or Failure.


6. Outbound Request includes information about:

  • Order Number
  • Customer
  • Status
  • Intercept status
  • Carrier Service
  • Tracking Number
  • Ship To
  • Date Created
  • Service Name
  • Company
  • Expected Pick Up Time


On this page, you can 

  • Import Outbound tracking Number

  • Import Carrier Charge Weight

  • Import Serial Number

  • Export Outbound Request

  • Export Outbound Request (Packing List)


You can filter in this page by Period of TimeOrder or SKUCompany NameIntercept Status, or by Shipping Country.


With this feature, you can SuspendApprovedEdit AddresseeUpdate Outbound Weight, and/or Update Carrier Charge Weight.


Status can be PendingConfirmedSuccessCancelled, or Failure.


7. Operation Batch includes information about:

  • Code
  • Alias
  • Flight No
  • Type 
  • Channel
  • Status
  • Sort Status
  • Created Time

Status can be Pending, To do, Processing, Booking, Completed, Outbound, and Cancelled.


On this page, you can add New Operation Batch.

With this feature, you can Outbound, Track, Pallet, Parcel, Export Operation Batch, Cancel, and Delete.

8. Storage Area includes information about:
  • Name
  • Code 
  • Type
  • Status


Status can be Enable and Disable.


With this feature you may add +New Storage Area.


You can also Print Shelf Label with this feature.


9. Shelf Inventory the following information are available:

  • Shelf Activity Log
  • Shelf Inventory List
  • Shelf Inventory Summary
  • Quick Putaway
  • Quick Picking
  • Transfer Inventory 


Shelf Activity Log includes information about:
  1. Order ID
  2. Order #
  3. SKU
  4. Storage Area
  5. Shelf Code
  6. Product Type
  7. Quantity
  8. Lot Name
  9. Expiration Date
  10. Type 
  11. Status


Shelf Inventory List includes information about:
  1. Shelf Code
  2. SKU
  3. Product Type
  4. Quantity
  5. Locked
  6. Lot Name
  7. Expiration Date
  8. Created Time
  9. Updated Time
  10. Company

Shelf Inventory Summary includes information about:
  1. SKU
  2. Quantity
  3. Locked Pallet
  4. Company

Quick Putaway in here you can scan directly the barcode or you can also Import.

Quick Picking in here you can type or scan the shelf code.

Transfer Inventory in here you can type or scan the shelf code to transfer your inventory to another shelf.

Pick List the following information are available:
  • Batch #
  • Status
  • Created Time
  • Completed Time


Status can be Pending and Completed.

Lastly, you should know what the following icons mean.


 refers to PDA or Personal Digital Assistant. A separate article is written about PDA.

 pertains to Old Version Website Language Version. You can switch to the old version.

 Notification bell.

  Settings that shows General Settings and Theme Settings.

          is your Account Information.
